Cookie Policy

1. In short

• The website sets no cookies at all.
• The web app uses only cookies it needs to sign you in and keep you secure, plus one that remembers a layout choice.
• There are no advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party marketing scripts anywhere in Atom.
• Because nothing optional is stored, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask first and this policy will change before they are used.

2. Cookies in the web app

All of these are first-party, set by Atom itself. Sign-in cookies are inaccessible to scripts on the page, and over HTTPS their names start with __Secure-.

3. Storage in your browser

The web app keeps some preferences in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. They stay on your device and are not sent to us:

• Your theme and custom colours, and each module's accent colour
• Layout preferences such as the Drive view and which toolbar buttons are shown
• Recent searches in the command palette
• Unsaved interface customizations, until they are saved
• Your browser's push notification token, after you turn notifications on

4. Analytics and error reports

The web app counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you across sites. When something breaks, the web app sends an error report to Sentry so we can fix it. Both are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Mobile apps

The iOS and Android apps do not use cookies in a browser. They keep your sign-in session and your chosen workspace in the operating system's secure storage.

6. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookies will stop you from signing in to the web app; clearing local storage resets your preferences.
